Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer is adenocarcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, or large cell carcinoma that has spread to both lungs, to fluid in the areas around the lungs or the heart, or away from the lungs to another part of the body.
IMFINZI + IMJUDO with chemotherapy is an immunotherapy-based treatment to treat Stage 4 non-small cell lung cancer.
IMFINZI and IMJUDO are immunotherapies. An immunotherapy is a type of cancer treatment that works with your immune system to find and attack cancer cells. IMFINZI + IMJUDO may also affect healthy cells.
Chemotherapy attacks fast-growing cells, including cancer cells and sometimes healthy cells. Immunotherapies, like IMFINZI and IMJUDO, work with your immune system to find and attack cancer cells.
IMFINZI + IMJUDO with chemotherapy may cause the immune system to attack healthy cells.
IMFINZI + IMJUDO are intravenous (IV) infusions given at your doctor’s office or an infusion center. You’ll receive IMFINZI + IMJUDO in combination with chemotherapy.
The number of treatments will be determined by your doctor.
While on IMFINZI + IMJUDO with chemotherapy, you may experience side effects. This is because IMFINZI + IMJUDO can cause your immune system to attack normal organs and tissues and can affect the way they work. These problems can sometimes become serious or life-threatening and can lead to death.
